Preserving Family Memories Through A Printed Photo

ElenaJiminez_TYDNA_1.jpg

We primarily shoot studio-style family portraits. This style of portrait is normally shot in multi-hour sessions that can cost families over 500 dollars. We hold our sessions at large events hosted by various nonprofits in the Dallas Fort-Worth Area to save time and money for our clients. Our sessions take five to ten minutes, are free, and produce a similar result to the expensive, long process of a professional shoot. Our clients receive one 8 x 10 printed copy to display at home and two 4 x 6 printed copies to share with family members. We also provide digital copies to allow our clients to further share their portraits.

People take and view photos using their smartphones every day, so why do portrait services still exist? Physical (printed) portraits and art in the home have been shown to improve mental health, reduce stress, and increase general liveliness. Professional portraits also are more intentional than the average family snapshot, and can make family members slow down their day-to-day lives and focus on their love for each other.  Physical portraits are precious items passed from generation to generation, but they are becoming less accessible every year due to inflation and the increased saturation of photos on people's smartphone. We aim to revive the family portrait for all in the Dallas Fort-Worth area.
